ABOUT THE GOLF CLUB
Golf officially began in Bloemfontein when Dr CH Bidwell placed an advert in the local newspaper “The Friend” which simply read “It is the purpose to form a golfing club in Bloemfontein for which purpose a meeting for those interested in the game and desirous of joining the club will be held in the council chambers at 6 o’clock on Saturday afternoon next, 3rd February 1894.

We are a team of 30+ individuals who all perform different tasks to present to you a world-class golfing facility based in Bloemfontein, South Africa. We also comprise of a Committee who oversees the staff and represent the members as a collective board that assist in making decisions at the club. The four team members listed are the office staff at the club and will be able to assist you and point you in the right direction regarding any queries you may have.
